Located at Hermitage State Park in Hickory County, this boat ramp provides convenient access to Pomme De Terre Lake, known as the "Gem of the Ozarks" for its cool, clear spring-fed waters. The ramp is situated at the campground and is accessible from March through November. A parking lot is available for boaters, making it easy to launch kayaks, canoes, and motorboats.
Pomme De Terre Lake offers excellent recreational opportunities with diverse fishing options including bass, walleye, catfish, crappie, and muskie. The lake's calm, clear conditions make it suitable for paddlers of various skill levels. If you're interested in exploring the Pomme De Terre River itself, an additional boat ramp is located on the north side of the park near Highway 64.
