Located on the west side of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway in Flagler County, Herschel King Sr. Park offers convenient access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. The park features a dedicated boat ramp, canoe/kayak launch, and 32 trailer parking spaces. Anglers can fish from the on-site pier, while paddlers can easily access the calm waters of the Intracoastal for sightseeing and exploration.
This 20-acre waterfront park provides well-maintained facilities including restroom facilities, picnic tables, shaded pavilions (available by reservation at 1-386-313-4020), and a playground. Leashed pets are welcome. The location serves as an ideal starting point for exploring the surrounding area, including the nearby Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve and Fort Matanzas National Monument. A shaded walking trail is also available for those wanting to stretch their legs before or after paddling.
