High Falls Reservoir #3 - East Bay offers public boat access to this 1,471-acre lake in Marinette County. This established launch site provides a good entry point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats looking to explore the reservoir's bays and waterways. Parking is available on nearby Wisconsin Public Service property and along angler access roads on state forest land.
The reservoir has a maximum depth of 54 feet and features numerous sheltered bays suitable for paddling, particularly the quieter, shallower areas that see less recreational traffic than the main basin. The water body supports a healthy population of musky, pike, bass, panfish, and walleye, making it popular with anglers as well. While the reservoir can experience moderate recreational boating activity, paddlers seeking quieter exploration will find less-used bays worth discovering.
This access point is one of several public landings serving High Falls Reservoir and the connected Caldron Falls Flowage. For current conditions, amenities, and any access updates, consult the Wisconsin DNR's boat access database at dnr.wi.gov/topic/Lands/boataccess/.
