Highway 45 Wayside Park is located at N8355 Lakeshore Drive in Fond du Lac, approximately three miles north of the city on the west shore of Lake Winnebago. The eight-acre park features a four-lane concrete boat ramp with docks and paved parking, making it a well-developed access point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The ramp is situated in the southwest section of the lake off Lakeshore Drive.

Launching at this Fond du Lac County facility requires a permit. Options include a Fond du Lac County Season Permit ($35) or a Tri-County Season Permit ($50) for access to Winnebago, Calumet, and Fond du Lac County boat launches on Lake Winnebago only.
