About This Access Site
The Highway 55 Bridge access site provides public boat launch access to Koronis Lake, a 2,968-acre lake in the Paynesville area of Meeker County. This is one of three public water access points available on the lake and accommodates both trailer launches and carry-in access for kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats. The site is open 24 hours daily (unless posted otherwise) and can typically handle boats up to 12-18 feet in length.

Koronis Lake offers excellent paddling opportunities with its substantial size and maximum depth of 132 feet, making it suitable for various water activities including fishing and recreational boating. Whether you're launching a kayak or canoe from the carry-in area or using a trailer, this Highway 55 location is a convenient access point for exploring the lake.
