The Highway 8 Bridge boat ramp provides access to Wright Patman Lake and the Sulphur River channel in the piney woods of northeast Texas. This free, year-round access point is located near the Sulphur River channel upstream on the lake and can accommodate boats of all sizes. To reach the ramp from Douglassville, take Texas Highway 8 north for approximately 3 miles and turn left, following signs to the access point.
