About This Access Site
**Location & Facilities**
Hills Access is a 40-acre Johnson County Conservation Board park located 0.5 miles east of Hills on 520th Street SE in Iowa City. The site features a hard-surface boat ramp, ample parking, picnic tables, restrooms, and a playground. Both non-electric and electric camping sites are available for overnight stays. This is an excellent put-in point for paddlers accessing the Iowa River Water Trail.

**For Paddlers & Boaters**
The boat ramp provides reliable access to the Iowa River for kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. The site is particularly popular with anglers due to excellent catfishing opportunities and extensive river shoreline. River Junction Access and Campground is located approximately 1.5 miles downstream and offers another take-out option with similar facilities. The nearby Coralville Lake provides additional recreation opportunities in the area.
