About This Access Site
**Location & Facilities:** This public boat ramp provides access to Holcombe Flowage on the Chippewa River in Chippewa County, near Holcombe, Wisconsin. The facility features a single concrete plank launch lane with adequate depth (over 3 feet) suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. Limited parking is available with 1-5 vehicle and trailer stalls. There is no fish cleaning station on-site.

**Paddling & Recreation:** Holcombe Flowage offers excellent opportunities for kayaking and canoeing with its scenic, wooded shoreline and public access to surrounding waters. The area is enhanced by fish habitat improvements including cribs and brush piles. Paddlers will find the flowage surrounded by public lands, including the Holcombe Flowage Wildlife Area and Blue Hills Recreation Area, providing excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and exploration of multiple access points along the irregular shoreline.

**Planning Your Visit:** With only one launch lane and limited parking, arrive early during peak season. This access point is one of several on the Chippewa River system, so paddlers should confirm current conditions and water levels before launching. The surrounding public lands make this a good base for exploring the wider Chippewa River area.
