Holcombe Flowage

Located in Conrath in Rusk County, this public boat ramp provides access to Holcombe Flowage, a reservoir on the Chippewa River. The ramp features a concrete plank surface approximately 15 feet wide with adequate depth for launching (deeper than 3 feet). There is limited parking with 1-5 vehicle/trailer stalls available, making this a modest access point best suited for smaller groups.

This flowage is part of the larger Chippewa River system and offers opportunities for kayaking, canoeing, and motorized boating. The ramp is one of nine public launches on the flowage, so paddlers have alternative access points if needed. Given the limited parking, arriving early during peak use times is recommended.
