Holey Land Primitive Ramp #1 is an unimproved boat ramp located in the southwestern corner of the Holey Land Management Area in Palm Beach County, Florida. This access point provides entry to a shallow marsh system and is best suited for shallow-draft vessels, airboats, canoes, and kayaks. Access is water-level dependent—the marsh can only be reached when water levels are adequate, so conditions may vary seasonally.
Paddlers and boaters should note that entry and exit to the public access area must occur via the L-5 or Miami Canal levees. The area is a managed wildlife preserve, so be prepared for possible hunting activity during designated seasons. This is a primitive facility, so expect minimal amenities and plan accordingly. Check current water conditions and management area regulations before visiting, as water levels and access restrictions can change seasonally.
