Holland Lake

**Location & Directions:** Holland Lake is located near Wirt in Itasca County, Minnesota. From Highway 83, turn east onto Holland Lake Road #44 near mile marker 35 and follow it approximately 2.5 miles. The boat ramp is located just past the intersection leading to Owl Packer Camp—turn right at the sign for the ramp.

**Launching Details:** This access site accommodates boats up to 12-18 feet in most cases. There are no launch fees to use this public access point. The ramp provides a convenient entry point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboat operators looking to access Holland Lake for recreation.

**Lake Characteristics:** Holland Lake is smaller than average in size and supports a trout fishery with lower abundance but larger average fish size, making it an attractive destination for anglers. The lake is suitable for paddling and recreational boating in a quieter, more remote setting typical of northern Minnesota lakes.
