About This Access Site
Hominy Landing is a well-maintained public boat ramp located on the northwest side of Skiatook Lake, just off Highway 20 in Osage County. The facility features a wide-lane concrete ramp, courtesy dock, and parking area, making it an accessible launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. An activity pass is required to use this site and can be reserved through Recreation.gov.

Skiatook Lake offers a scenic paddling experience with a meandering shoreline surrounded by gentle rolling hills, blackjack and post oak woodlands, and native tallgrass prairie. The lake is part of the Hominy Creek river system and provides ample water for recreational paddling and fishing. On-site amenities include year-round restrooms and drinking water, making this a comfortable base for launching extended paddling trips or day outings on the lake and its tributaries.
