This Pierce County-maintained facility serves as an ideal launch point for kayakers and canoeists exploring the scenic waters around Gig Harbor and the greater Puget Sound region.
From Horsehead Bay, paddlers can access a variety of destinations, including Cutts Island State Park, which is approximately two miles away by boat. The ramp's location makes it suitable for both day trips and longer excursions into Puget Sound.
