About This Access Site
Horseshoe Lake in Granite City offers two public boat ramps for convenient water access. The main ramp is located on the north shore inside the park, with an additional ramp available at the end of the lake. The lake maintains excellent parking facilities for vehicles and trailers, making it accessible for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats alike. Note that a strict 50-horsepower motor limit applies to all watercraft on the lake.

This scenic oxbow lake supports diverse recreational opportunities, including fishing for channel catfish, bass, crappie, bluegill, carp, and buffalo.
