Located in Overbrook, Osage County, this access point provides a rock-based boat ramp for launching onto Valley Brook Creek and Pomona Lake. The recreation area offers free, year-round camping with eight primitive campsites, making it a convenient base for extended paddling trips. The facility is non-reservable, so access is available on a first-come basis.

Pomona Lake is a scenic 4,000-acre reservoir situated near the Santa Fe Trail, known for its wildlife and recreational opportunities. The lake is approximately 24 miles south of Topeka via US 75, then 7 miles east on KS 268. Paddlers should note that while the main Pomona Lake South Boat Launch features a two-lane concrete ramp with paved parking, this access point provides a more rustic rock-base ramp suitable for kayaks and canoes. The area draws a variety of outdoor enthusiasts and offers good opportunities for exploring the waterway and observing wildlife.
