Hunt Lake

Hunt Lake is a 160-acre lake in Kilkenny, Rice County, offering a DNR-owned concrete boat ramp on the north side off County Road 37. As a state-managed access site, there are typically no launch fees unless a vehicle permit is required.

The lake itself is relatively shallow, with a maximum depth of 27 feet and approximately 84% of the water less than 15 feet deep—ideal characteristics for recreational paddling and fishing.
