About This Access Site
Hunter Park offers a convenient public access point to Lake Granbury's calm waters on the Brazos River. The site features a concrete boat ramp with a steady slope, making it suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and larger boats. Additional amenities include two fishing piers, a courtesy dock, restrooms, and picnic areas, along with a free campsite for overnight visitors. The park is open year-round with no launch fee.

**Directions & Location:** From US 377 east of Granbury, turn south on FM 4, then right on FM 51 (also referenced as "uplake off FM-51"). Watch for park signs as you approach. The park is situated in the main lake area, providing access to calm coves and quieter waters ideal for paddling.
