About This Access Site
The Huron City Municipal Boat Launch is a well-developed public access point on the Huron River in northern Ohio, offering free launching for kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. Located at 41 Cleveland Road East (off US Route 6) in Huron, this four-lane facility provides ample amenities including handicapped-accessible docks, restrooms, and parking for 135 vehicles with trailers. The launch sits along 577 feet of the river's east bank, north of the Cleveland Road bridge, making it convenient for day trips on the Huron River and access to Lake Erie.

Paddlers will find this to be a straightforward, well-maintained access point suitable for recreational boating. The facility's multiple lanes and docking areas accommodate various vessel types, from small kayaks to larger boats. For additional information or questions about conditions and amenities, contact the Huron Boat Basin at (419) 433-4848 or boatbasin@huronohio.us.
