About This Access Site
Huron River Marina Inc. provides a modern four-lane boat launch facility offering convenient access to both the Huron River and Lake Erie. Located at 41 Cleveland Road East (off Route 6) in Huron, Erie County, the ramp was completed in 2010 and offers free boat launching with restrooms available on-site. This is Ohio's largest full-service marina, making it a well-equipped option for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters.

The facility accommodates a range of watercraft and paddlers looking to explore the Huron River system or venture into Lake Erie. With its multiple launch lanes and full-service amenities including dockage, storage, and boat services, the marina provides good infrastructure for day trips and longer outings. For more information or to confirm current conditions and any seasonal details, contact the marina directly at (419) 433-4848 or boatbasin@huronohio.us.

The nearby Old Woman Creek National Estuarine Research Reserve offers additional paddling and exploration opportunities in the area, making this a good basepoint for exploring Erie County's coastal waterways.
