Hurricane Lake Fish Management Area - Centerline Road North

This concrete boat ramp provides convenient access to Hurricane Lake in the Blackwater River State Forest, located approximately 12 miles northwest of Baker off S.R. 4. The launch features ample parking and is suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boats. The site includes restroom and picnic facilities, making it a comfortable spot for day trips or longer outings on the lake and connecting Hurricane Creek.

The ramp is well-maintained and part of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's network of public access points. An informational kiosk is located adjacent to the boat ramp, providing details about the area. The location is conveniently situated within easy reach of Pensacola, Milton, Crestview, and south Alabama, making it accessible for paddlers throughout the region. Several earthen fishing fingers are available for anglers, and future development includes a fishing pier in the south campground area.
