About This Access Site
**Access & Directions:** Located just off I-5 Exit 36 near Toledo, this ramp provides convenient access to the Cowlitz River. Take the immediate right onto Gearhart Garden Road after crossing the Cowlitz River bridge. Two parking lots serve the site; use the second lot, as the first is an older, abandoned ramp. The location offers easy highway access, making it ideal for paddlers and anglers heading to the lower river.

**Facilities & What to Expect:** This is a functional, no-frills boat launch primarily designed for angler and paddler access. Basic amenities may be available, though facilities are minimal compared to other regional access points. The lower Cowlitz River in this area is popular with both canoeists and kayakers, offering a productive stretch for fishing and paddling. Wildlife viewing opportunities exist in the surrounding area, particularly during early morning and evening hours.
