Ike Kinswa State Park offers convenient access to Mayfield Lake via boat ramp on the Cowlitz River system. Located 4 miles north of Mossyrock on the north shore, the park sits on 454 acres of mixed forest and farmland. The lake is ideal for kayaking, canoeing, and paddling, with calm freshwater conditions suitable for recreational paddlers. The park also supports fishing (tiger muskie, largemouth bass, kokanee, and rainbow trout), water skiing, and swimming.
**Important Note:** The watercraft launch has a material washout at the base of the concrete ramp where it ends abruptly—paddlers and boaters should exercise caution when launching and landing. Two boat ramps are available at the park. To reach the site from I-5, take exit 68 (U.S. 12) and drive east 14 miles, then turn north on SR 122 (Silver Creek Road) and continue 1.9 miles.
The park offers a full range of amenities including camping, picnic areas, hiking, and mountain biking trails, making it a good base for multi-day paddling trips or family outings on the lake.
