Ike Walton Lake is a 1,417-acre lake in Vilas County, Wisconsin, offering public boat access via a single ramp located in a small bay on the western shore. With a maximum depth of 61 feet, the lake provides good water depth for various watercraft including kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. The surrounding area is part of the popular Minocqua/Woodruff region, known as "Nature's Original Water Park."
The lake supports a diverse fishery including musky, walleye, smallmouth and largemouth bass, and panfish, making it popular with anglers as well as recreational paddlers. The public boat landing ensures reliable access for launching and retrieving watercraft. Paddlers should note that with 1,417 acres of open water, conditions can vary—check local weather before heading out, as larger lakes can develop significant wind and wave action.
