Indian Acres Ramp provides public boat launch access to the Muskingum River in Marietta, Ohio. Located within Indian Acres Park, this facility offers convenient access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters looking to explore the Muskingum. The park setting includes additional amenities such as baseball fields, a skate park, and bike paths, making it a good option for multi-purpose recreation visits.
From the ramp, paddlers can explore the Muskingum River system and connect downstream to the Ohio River via the Willow Island Pool on the Ohio River, which provides navigable water approximately 35 miles to Hannibal Locks & Dam. For those planning an extended trip, Lane Farm Campground is located about 5 miles north along the scenic byway and offers four campsites on the Little Muskingum River. The site is easily accessed from Interstate 77 (Exit 1) via State Route 7 and Route 26 heading north from Marietta.
