**Location & Access:** Indian Fort (also called Reed Point Boat Ramp) is located near Reed Point in Stillwater County, Montana, on the Yellowstone River. This access point serves as a popular take-out for floaters completing the approximately 5-mile paddle from the Bratten access site upstream. The site offers river-side parking with a back-in boat ramp configuration.
**Facilities & Services:** The access area includes basic amenities including a vault toilet, picnic table, and fire pit. The ramp accommodates both day-use visitors and those with camping needs. Note that the lower Yellowstone River has limited access points and services, so plan accordingly if you're paddling longer distances. The next downstream access points are located at Twin Bridges and Columbus.
**Best For:** This site works well as a take-out point for canoeists and kayakers doing moderate floats on the Yellowstone River. It's also suitable for fishing access. Boaters should be aware that services and access points are sparse along this section of river, making careful planning essential for longer trips.
