This public boat access in Deerbrook provides a convenient launch point for Indian Lake recreation. Parking is available at a gravel turn-around area at the end of Indian Trail (0.5 miles from the junction with Woodland Trail, accessible via Route 1 North).

Paddlers should note that water access between Lewey Lake and Indian Lake is available via a portage route over the spillway underneath the Route 30 bridge—this passage is typically restricted to small boats, canoes, and kayaks. A ramp card system is in place, and users must display an Indian Lake Northwoods Club (ILNC) sticker on their watercraft alongside the state sticker.
