About This Access Site
Located in Oak Hill on the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, Indian Mound Fish Camp offers convenient boat ramp access for kayakers, canoeists, and larger vessels. The facility features a full-service fish camp with a bait shop, tackle supplies, snacks, and ice available on-site—making it easy to prepare for a day on the water. The camp also operates a 100-foot dock and is known for its proximity to shallow water areas suitable for redfish and other species.

Paddlers launching here gain direct access to the Intracoastal Waterway, with numerous islands available for exploration and wildlife viewing, including opportunities to spot osprey, manatees, and dolphins. For those seeking ocean access, the Atlantic Ocean is approximately one mile away by water. Note that the nearby Seminole Rest Historic Site has a dedicated canoe/kayak launch if you prefer a smaller, quieter access point. Indian Mound Fish Camp is a family-run operation best suited for those planning a fishing-focused outing or wanting all amenities in one convenient location.
