About This Access Site
**Location & Access:** This public boat ramp provides direct access to the Indian River Lagoon in Fort Pierce, Saint Lucie County. The facility is situated within a 18-acre veterans memorial park, offering a dedicated launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boats up to 20 feet.

**Facilities & Amenities:** The park features a 2-lane boat ramp with non-floating courtesy docks, approximately 11 paved parking spaces near the launch area, and restrooms. Beyond the ramp itself, the park includes picnic pavilions, playgrounds, a splash pad, and memorial areas. Two piers are available for fishing or observation. The adjacent Indian River Drive walkway provides additional recreational opportunities.

**Paddling Note:** Access is from the Indian River Lagoon only. The lagoon in this area is a large, relatively calm estuary suitable for kayaking and canoeing, making this a good launching point for both day trips and longer explorations. Check local conditions before launching, as the Indian River Lagoon can experience variable water quality and weather-dependent paddling conditions.
