The Pend Oreille River is a substantial waterway, ranking as a major river system with an average flow of approximately 26,500 cubic feet per second and a moderate gradient of 2.1 feet per mile. Paddlers can expect miles of clear water with scenic panoramic views and relatively manageable current conditions.
