IP Road

The IP Road boat ramp provides public access to Nantachie Lake in Grant Parish, conveniently located near Highway 71 in the Odra area. This free public boat launch is well-suited for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorboat operators. The shallow waters of Nantachie Lake are ideal for flat-bottomed vessels like jon boats, canoes, and kayaks, making this a good entry point for paddlers of various skill levels.

The lake's shoreline is primarily developed with private residences and camps, but public access is available through this boat ramp facility. The area is known for good fishing opportunities and sits within Louisiana's historic Cane River region, home to Creole cultural heritage sites and the Cane River National Heritage Area. Plan to arrive during daylight hours, and note that there is no public beach facility at the lake—access is water-based only through the boat ramps.
