Located mid-lake on the south side of O.C. Fisher Lake off FM Road 2288, this access point features a two-lane concrete boat ramp with associated parking facilities. The ramp provides convenient access to O.C. Fisher Reservoir, a 5,400-acre impoundment on the North Concho River that was completed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 1952. This is an ideal launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters looking to explore the mid-lake area.
O.C. Fisher Lake offers a scenic paddling destination in west-central Texas with relatively calm water conditions suitable for various skill levels. The lake is surrounded by several recreation areas, and paddlers can explore approximately 5 miles of shoreline or venture toward upstream portions of the North Concho River arm. The site is part of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers park system, and standard entrance and/or boat ramp fees typically apply. Nearby alternative launch points include Spring Creek Marina & RV Park (southwest corner) if you need additional facilities or services.
