Island Lake

Island Lake County Park provides convenient public access to this 225-acre lake in Emily, Crow Wing County. The site features an earthen boat ramp located on the north side of the lake, with access via Victoria Avenue south of I-694. A fishing pier is also available on the west shore for anglers preferring shore-based access. The lake's maximum depth of 32 feet and accessible channel underneath I-694 make it suitable for various recreational activities.

All watercraft types are permitted on Island Lake, including kayaks, canoes, motorized boats, and sailboats, provided they meet Minnesota DNR safety requirements. The lake offers decent fishing opportunities with walleye and panfish populations, making it a popular destination for both paddlers and anglers.
