Jackson Lake

Jackson Lake's primary boat ramp is located near Moran in Grand Teton National Park and provides access to one of the region's largest alpine lakes. To reach the Spalding Bay Boat Ramp, drive north from Jackson on Highway 191/89 and turn left at Moose Junction. The ramp features a small parking lot and provides access to the scenic waters of Jackson Lake, surrounded by the dramatic Teton Range. Two small campsites with bear boxes and pit toilets are available at Spalding Bay, approximately 2.25 miles from the Teton Park Road.

**Practical Information for Paddlers:** Jackson Lake offers excellent opportunities for kayaking, canoeing, and motorboating with stunning alpine views. Additional marinas and facilities are available at Colter Bay and Signal Mountain further along the lake. For emergencies or boating inquiries, contact NPS Dispatch at 307-733-3301, Colter Bay Village/Marina at 307-543-2811, or Signal Mountain Marina at 307-543-2831. VHF Radio Channel 16 is monitored by Colter Bay Village and Marina.

**Before Your Visit:** Download the National Park Service app and save map data for offline use to navigate safely on the water. Three nearby campgrounds (Lizard Creek, Colter Bay, and Signal Mountain) offer reservable campsites within 10 miles. Weather-resistant Jackson Lake maps are available for purchase online or at local retailers in Jackson Hole. Summer use can be heavy at popular locations, so plan accordingly.
