Jameson Lake

Jameson Lake offers a public WDFW boat ramp near Jacks Resort at the south end of the lake, providing convenient access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The ramp is universally accessible and well-suited for launching small craft onto this popular fishing destination. Parking and amenities are available at the nearby access point beyond the gate.

The lake supports a healthy fishery with multiple species including rainbow trout, walleye, largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, and sunfish, making it attractive for both paddlers and anglers. Jameson Lake has good shoreline access and calm conditions typical of an inland reservoir, making it suitable for recreational paddling of various skill levels. For extended visits, both Jameson Lake Resort (north end) and Jacks Resort (south end) offer additional facilities including camping, RV hookups, and boat launching options.
