Located in Crisfield, this access point provides convenient water entry to Daugherty Creek Canal and the Annemessex Canal system. The facility includes a dedicated floating dock designed for easy launching of kayaks and canoes, a traditional boat ramp, parking area, restrooms, and a pier. This makes it well-suited for paddlers of all experience levels seeking calm, protected water access.
A day-use fee of $7 (in-state) or $9 (out-of-state) applies and can be paid via an honor box envelope or at the park store during the season. Kayak and canoe rentals are available seasonally, weather permitting, for those without their own boats. The site serves as the gateway to Janes Island's water trails system, offering excellent paddling opportunities through the coastal marshlands near Glenn Martin National Wildlife Refuge. Note that swimming is not permitted in Daugherty Creek Canal. For more information or to make reservations, contact the park office at 410-968-1565.
