Jericho Boat Launch

**Location & Access**
The Jericho Boat Launch is located on Jericho Road in downtown Scituate, offering convenient access to Scituate Harbor and Cape Cod Bay. This is a **free, 24-hour access facility** managed by the Town of Scituate, making it ideal for early morning launches or evening paddles. The double-wide concrete ramp accommodates approximately 43 trailer parking spaces, though the lot can fill quickly during peak summer weekends—plan accordingly if visiting on Sundays.

**Facilities & Paddling Conditions**
The ramp averages 6 feet of water at low tide and provides a quick half-mile run to the harbor entrance. A wooden pier is available on-site for additional launching options. From here, paddlers can easily access Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary to the east, the Minot area ledges, Boston Harbor, and points toward Provincetown. The site is well-suited for kayakers and canoeists exploring the greater Boston Harbor area and Cape Cod Bay.

**Planning Notes**
Recently renovated in Spring 2025, the facility is in good condition. Note that swimming is not permitted at this site. Avoid peak summer Sundays when the ramp experiences heavy congestion.
