Located in Old Town, Dixie County, this boat ramp provides convenient access to the scenic Suwannee River in north-central Florida. The wide ramp is situated on the north side of the river at the end of CR317A (SE 230 Ave.), with a short 400-foot run to the water. The park offers ample amenities including parking, restrooms, picnic tables, grills, and a playground, making it a comfortable staging area for day trips or longer paddling adventures.
This is an excellent launch point for kayakers and canoeists exploring the famous Suwannee River, which winds through pristine forest and coastal marsh habitat. The site provides access to multiple nearby paddling routes, with other landings located just 2-2.5 miles downstream, allowing for flexible trip planning.
