The inlet area at Johnson Lake SRA provides a convenient boat launch on Middle Plum Creek near Elwood in Gosper County. This ADA-accessible facility features a boat ramp and dock, making it suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats. The recreation area sits on 332 acres with modern facilities including restrooms, showers, and water access. A park permit is required, and a daily parking fee applies.

This access point connects paddlers to Middle Plum Creek and integrates well with nearby recreational opportunities, including Elwood Reservoir and other scenic areas like Gallagher Canyon SRA.
