The Juneau Street access point provides a convenient double boat ramp for launching onto Lake Tomah, a 245-acre lake in Monroe County. Located in Tomah, the site is easily accessible via Wisconsin State Highway 131—take exit 41 off Interstate 90, head north into Tomah for 1.2 miles, then turn west on Juneau Street for 0.7 mile. This is the primary public access point for the lake and accommodates both motorized and paddle-powered watercraft.
Lake Tomah has a maximum depth of 19 feet and offers fishing opportunities for panfish, largemouth bass, and northern pike, though note that water clarity is low. The access site is part of Winnebago Park, which offers extensive facilities including public restrooms, picnic areas, an enclosed shelter with fireplace, a fishing pier, and various recreational amenities. Paddlers and boaters will find this to be a well-developed park setting ideal for day trips and family outings on the lake.
