About This Access Site
**Location & Facilities**
Kaercher Creek Park is located just east of Hamburg along Old Route 22 in northern Berks County. The site features a boat launching ramp with associated parking facilities, a fishing dock, and a boat dock serving the 40-acre Kaercher Creek Lake. Three launch ramps are available for boaters and paddlers of varying experience levels.

**What to Know**
This access point is ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and small boat operators looking for a calm-water paddle. The park provides good access to the lake, which is owned and stocked by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission. Overnight mooring of unpowered boats (kayaks, canoes) is permitted from March 1 through November 30, provided boats display current registration. The site has benefited from community stewardship efforts to maintain access and facilities. The park also offers fishing opportunities for bass and other species.

**Nearby Options**
Blue Marsh Lake, a much larger 1,150-acre reservoir with additional amenities including a swim beach and picnic facilities, is located nearby and offers paddlers an alternative destination for extended outings.
