About This Access Site
The Keswick Boat Ramp, also known as the Centimudi Public Boat Ramp, provides excellent access to the mighty Sacramento River near Shasta Dam. As a major headwater stream, the Sacramento River is a large, fast-flowing waterway, with an average flow of over 38,800 cubic feet per second and a total drop of nearly 9,400 feet over its 419-mile length.

The boat ramp features multiple launching lanes that accommodate varying water levels, from 0 to 210 feet of drawdown. A courtesy dock is available when the water level is between 0 and 75 feet. The ramp and adjacent parking area are paved and lighted, making it a convenient access point for kayakers, canoeists, and power boaters alike. Nearby campgrounds and recreation areas, such as the Eastside Keswick Trails and the Sacramento River Rail Trail, offer ample opportunities for further exploration of the region.

Whether you're embarking on a peaceful paddle or launching a motorized craft, the Keswick Boat Ramp provides a well-equipped and easily accessible gateway to the remarkable Sacramento River. Boaters should familiarize themselves with the river's characteristics and plan accordingly for the swift current and significant drop in elevation as they navigate this impressive waterway.
