The Key Bridge (SR83) boat ramp on the Ocmulgee River in Berner, Jasper County, Georgia, provides public access for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized boats. The ramp is located approximately 15 miles south of Monticello.
Paddlers and boaters should be aware that the area is currently undergoing bridge demolition and construction work, so caution is advised when using the facility. There are around 8 parking spaces for vehicles with trailers, as well as 5 additional car-only spaces, including ADA-accessible parking. The boat ramp is open to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Ocmulgee River at this location is a moderate-sized waterway, suitable for a variety of small craft. Paddlers can enjoy the scenic, forested banks and the chance to spot local wildlife.
