Kingfisher Landing - Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge

Kingfisher Landing provides boaters and paddlers with convenient access to the vast Okefenokee Swamp in southeast Georgia. This boat ramp on the northeast side of the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge offers a straightforward put-in for canoes, kayaks, and small motorized watercraft.

From the boat ramp, you can explore miles of scenic canals, marshes, and waterways that wind through the Okefenokee's unique wetland ecosystem. The swamp's slow-moving, blackwater channels offer excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing, with the chance to spot alligators, wading birds, and the refuge's namesake kingfishers. The boat ramp is open during normal refuge hours, but overnight camping is not permitted at this day-use site.
