This is a fee-based access point; a valid NJ hunting, fishing, or trapping license or annual Boat Ramp Maintenance Permit ($15/year) is required. As a major river system (Stream Order 8), the Delaware flows with an average velocity of 3.11 feet/second and carries substantial volume—over 30,000 cubic feet per second on average. The site sits within the Lower Delaware National Wild and Scenic River corridor, offering paddlers access to one of the largest free-flowing rivers in the eastern United States. The surrounding landscape features forests, farmlands, and historic villages. With an average gradient of 2.7 feet/mile in this section, paddlers should expect moderate current suitable for kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats.

This ramp provides good access for day trips and longer paddles along this scenic stretch of the Delaware. Check local water conditions and flow levels before launching, as this major river can experience significant seasonal variations.
