Knights Bridge Park in Canby provides public access to the Molalla River via a small, older concrete boat ramp approximately 12 feet wide. The ramp is suitable for small to medium-sized watercraft and serves as a convenient put-in point for kayakers and canoeists. The park includes a parking lot maintained by Clackamas County Parks adjacent to the bridge.
This access site is particularly useful during higher water conditions (fall through spring) for paddling trips. From Knights Bridge, it's approximately a 3-mile paddle downstream to the Willamette River confluence, with an additional 0.9 miles to the boat ramp at Molalla River State Park if you need a take-out point. The relatively short float makes this a good option for moderate paddling trips or for those wanting to access a less-developed section of the Molalla River. Note that the parking area may be used for bridge construction and maintenance activities.
