About This Access Site
Kollen Park offers a hard-surfaced boat ramp providing convenient access to Lake Macatawa in Holland, Michigan. The ramp accommodates all trailerable watercraft and maintains sufficient depth (2.5–3 feet minimum at 20 feet from shore) for kayaks, canoes, and larger boats. The 24-acre park features limited docking facilities, ample parking, and a scenic waterfront with boardwalks and fishing decks along the Heinz Waterfront Walkway, making it an excellent staging point for paddling adventures.

**Practical Tips:** Pull forward into a marked parking space immediately after launching—do not park on the ramp approach or on grass. Overnight parking requires a season pass and written permission from the City of Holland's Park and Recreation Director. Contact Andy Kenyon for overnight authorization. Overnight visitors should use the upper parking lot to store vehicles and trailers.
