About This Access Site
Located in Paynesville, Koronis Lake County Park provides public boat access to Koronis Lake, a 2,968-acre lake in Stearns County that's known as one of Central Minnesota's premier fishing destinations. The park features a public boat launch suitable for motorboats, kayaks, and canoes. With a maximum depth of 132 feet, the lake offers diverse paddling opportunities and is home to healthy populations of walleye, bass, and northern pike.

The 62-acre park is jointly managed by Meeker and Stearns Counties and offers amenities beyond water access, including blacktop trails, a beach area, hiking trails, and a swim area. Paddlers will find the paved bike trail system convenient for exploring the shoreline. The park provides a full range of recreational facilities, making it an excellent base for a day trip or extended visit to the lake.
