The harbor provides access to both Pool 7 (between Trempealeau, WI and Dresbach, MN) and Pool 8 (between Dresbach, MN and Genoa, WI), making it an excellent base for extended paddling or boating trips in this nationally significant stretch of river. The immediate area is nestled between scenic bluff lands and near the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge, offering paddlers opportunities to experience the region's natural beauty.
