Located in Land O' Lakes, Vilas County, the Lac du Lune boat ramp provides public access to a 442-acre lake with depths reaching up to 68 feet. This unimproved ramp is suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats. The lake supports a healthy fishery with Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Panfish, and Trout, making it popular with anglers as well as paddlers.
The access site is conveniently situated near two reservable campgrounds—Sylvania Wilderness Backcountry Camping and Sylvania (Clark Lake) Campground—both within 10 miles, making it an excellent option for multi-day paddling trips in the area. With a mean depth of 24 feet, the lake offers stable paddling conditions.
