Lacamas Lake

Lacamas Lake offers convenient water access via a boat ramp located within Camas Heritage Park on the north side of the lake. This 5.5-acre park facility is well-suited for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters looking to explore the lake. The launch provides straightforward access to the main body of water, with a no-wake zone immediately around the launch area that's popular for paddling.

The lake is known for warm summer water temperatures and attracts users for various activities including paddle sports, water skiing, and recreational boating. Be aware that the City of Camas monitors water quality and posts public notices regarding blue-green algae outbreaks during summer months. If you're exploring by paddle craft, note that water depths can be variable in certain areas, so local knowledge of shallower sections is helpful. Alternative launch options exist on the west side of the lake (near Lacamas Lake Lodge off NW Lake Rd), which may be preferred if accessing the southern end of the lake.
